Mission
The Floyd County Community Foundation supports efforts that build long-term capacity towards improving the quality of life in Floyd County, Kentucky, and address the immediate needs of our community, especially our most disadvantaged neighbors.

We support projects that:
- Are consistent with the Floyd County Community Foundation’s mission
- Help attract additional funds and resources for the participants or organization
- Promote collaboration among community partners
- Are based on complete and clear income and expense projections
- Are proposed by organizations with sound financial practices and strong staff and volunteer support
- Are for a discrete project rather than a recurring need
Since 2018, The Floyd County Community Foundation has awarded over $82,700 in local grants
