On this day, the online event will be active and accepting donations from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM. This year, the Foundation will be highlighting The Power of Community!

The Power of Community
At the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky, we believe that reclaiming the power of community for Appalachian Kentucky begins with investing in the people rooted there. Community is at the center of all that we do. We are deeply rooted in the Appalachian Kentucky region, connecting with the community through our affiliate network and our commitment to making positive change. Our approach is to meet communities where they are instead of telling them where they should be, because, ultimately, only the people living within a community truly understand what challenges they are facing.
