This GivingTuesday, we want to uplift and strengthen our 12 affiliate community foundations. They work tirelessly to invest in their communities through grantmaking to local non-profit organizations and projects. We invite you to join us and support the affiliate of your choice — or all of them! — on December 2, 2025!

What is GivingTuesday?
GivingTuesday is a global giving day that promotes and celebrates generosity in all its forms. It inspires millions to give their time, talents, or treasure on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
Why #GiveAppKY?
On December 2, we want to show the world that, in Appalachia, we are givers. We take care of each other. Generosity is at the heart of how we live every day.
How can you help?
- Donate to an affiliate in a community that you care about. (Or donate to our Spread the Love fund, which will be split among all the affiliates.)
- Share our posts about GivingTuesday on your social media platforms.
- Support our affiliates by sharing their posts on Facebook to spread the word.
- Do something generous for a neighbor, an organization, or your community, then share it on social media with the hashtag #GiveAppKY.

We empower local communities through our affiliate network. Affiliates are like mini foundations, representing a specific area within Appalachian Kentucky, with local boards addressing community needs. We equip affiliates with resources and expertise, fostering collaboration for a stronger region.
